Our Ministries

Our congregation is committed to what we consider to be the two wings of our church – Reaching In and Reaching Out. Reaching In refers to what we do to nurture our spiritual growth, for the more like Jesus we become, the more effectively and authentically we can interact with others and the world. Reaching Out refers to the many things we do to help those outside the walls of our church to be warm, fed, sheltered, supported, and loved. When it comes to the ministries of our church, we know that our congregation will only fly with both wings fully functioning.

Here are just a few representative examples of our ministries in these two vital and equally important areas:

Reaching In –

• Weekly worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 am, both in person and streaming
• Periodic Wednesday Book Studies and Lunch & Learn Offerings
• Thursday Meditation and Centering Prayer gatherings
• One-on-One Coaching on how to Jump into the Story of Jesus and His Love. (* All of these opportunities are available remotely as well)

Reaching Out – 

• Our ongoing partnership with Healthy Communities in Guatemala
• Our inmate support ministry to those in the Charlevoix County jail
• Our founding and ongoing commitment to our local food, diaper, and personal products pantries
• Our dozens of community partnerships with non-profits such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, CMA Emergency Relief, Public Library, Tipp of the Mitt Watershed Council, and many others whose work we support in and beyond Charlevoix.
